Michelle, your site is adorable. :)

I own Be Here Soon and have been online now for about 7 years now. I agree that moving from one stage growth to the next can be challenging. Have you inquired with Hybrid Mom about their consulting program- http://www.hybridmomconsulting.com ?

My business came out of a need to express my creativity, after all I am an artist. I design and sell t-shirts and all kinds of things. I think if you do something you love the money will follow. Well with the right marketing.
So what are you thinking about doing for a business? Lisa :)

Hello all.

I'm a mom of 2...(7 and 5 years old) and a Professional Photographer (10 years) http://www.heathermwhiting.com I'm also in the process of starting 2 new ventures in the next few months...I've learned that the older my kids get...the more stuff they do...the harder it is for me to be away (aka being a wedding photographer is not a good career choice anymore...lol).

So starting some new blogs and some coaching for photographers, it is a niche I know very, very well. And I'm super excited about.

Hi Gina of M.O.M Team,
That and sounds like the way to go. I just heard of a study out by the University of Washington. These little scented items we like to freshen our homes with-such as air fresheners, dryer sheets, even our scented fabric detergents have cancer causing chemicals that are not even required to be listed on the packages! After hearing this I am considering more changes.

Well, Hello Ladies,

First of all I am in a stay at home mom turned in to a mompreneurs/business owner of www.kinderbloom.com. Kinderbloom boutique specializes in beautiful personalized T-shirts and tutus.

My business idea is to put every effort in how to start your idea by doing research, shopping for new ideas, and the most important thing is to promote your business. I am still learning as well.

So, Good luck in everything you do, if you decide to open your own business.

Kinderbloom-The loving mommy :)

Hello! I am the owner of a children's consignment boutique in Baltimore MD called The Be Hive! Today is my 8th week open full time and I absolutely LOVE IT! I have awesome consignors and am working diligently on advertising and marketing to shoppers! I believe that has been my biggest hurdle...getting customers in the door. I love the freedom of working for myself, and having complete artistic control. I offer new, gently used and hand made items for children. I have a companion website which I hope someday will be a fully operational complitmentary e-boutique. My biggest advice would be to plan, plan, plan and then plan to refer to plan B, plan C, plan D, etc. Don't be afraid to be flexible, keeping your main goal in sight at all times. Remember that communication is key to all relationships and in doing business, relationships are paramount. Listen for what is not being said and say what you want, out loud, daily!

I am the owner of Ms. Alethia's ( affeciontely called Ms. Alethia by my clients). I am a Dressmaker, Designer, and Alteration Specialist, specializing in Bridal and Formal wear for women and girls.
I'm , also, a crafter. I love to create what ideas come to mind. I have created specialty aprons, pocket books, novelty dolls, etc. My motto is, " If it's been done, I can do it".
As if that is not enough, I am a 9-5'er. I work for a large bridal chain as an Alterations Manager. I am, also, an Independent Beauty Consultant for Mary Kay, which I intend to imcorporate into my own bridal business as an effort to provide my brides and her wedding party with full service.
Below is my latest project , a recreation of a wedding dress for one of my clients. This gown was recreated from the photo provided. She had a destination wedding in Jamaica (7/08).
