Dear Home Schooling Families,

We've been reaching out to U.S. schools and music associations nationwide announcing a Jingle Contest for children K-12. I hope you don't mind us reaching out to you since home-school children are welcomed to participate in the contest as well.

We are notifying all U.S. schools and music associations nationwide about a Jingle Contest for children K-12 that will officially start November 1st and end on December 15th.

Jingle Contest Information:
As a promotion for the launch of an iPhone drawing game called "Creople®" [creature + people], we're pleased to announce the Creople "Jingle Contest". The contest is designed to encourage eligible U.S. children K-12 to use their musical creativity to create a 30 second jingle that best represents the "Creople" iPhone drawing game. America will vote for the Top 10 jingles and our judges will narrow it down to the 5 Finalists. The Grand Prize winner will have their winning jingle recorded and featured on the iPhone game upgrade and Creople's web site, receive $1,000.00 plus sponsorship prizes. There are also prizes for the 2nd Place Winner and 3 Runner-ups.

Judges:
We are honored to have Violinist Sheryl Staples, who is currently the Principal Associate Concertmaster of the New York Philharmonic, a position she has held since 1998. We are equally honored to have Crystal Waters, as one of our judges for the Contest. She is best known for her string of domestic and international number one dance hits in the 1990's, including her 1991 signature smash, "Gypsy Woman (She's Homeless)", which garnered her three American Music Award nominations and made her an international sensation.

What is Creople?
"Creople" is a fun iPhone and iPod Touch drawing game for children that can be played with one person or multiple people. There are 4 body parts to draw–the head, torso, legs and feet. You can only see and draw one section at a time. So when one part is complete, it's hidden until all 4 sections are drawn. You'll be laughing so hard when you see the completed drawing to reveal the funniest character ever!

For your convenience, we created a Creople "Jingle Contest" flyer in PDF format for you to distribute to students and their parents at http://www.creopleworld.com. You can also find more information about the Jingle Contest on Creople's Facebook Fan page. We will send out announcements to Creople fans and a nationwide Press Release when the Official Contest Rules and registration for the contest becomes available.

We hope you share this information with your children and students, which would be a truly wonderfully creative and fun experience for them. We wish all your children who participate in the Creople "Jingle Contest" good luck!

All the best,
The Creople People

Hi...I'm a mom of 5 (four of which are boys!). My oldest three homeschooled sons are in college. My youngest two are 5 (doing Kindergarten at home) and 17 months. We missed having little ones around so much we started over! I am passionate about a lot of things homeschooling being one of them. I am also a childern's clothing designer and a organic farmer...and in my spare time I have two blogs!

I just started last year with my now 13 year old using California Virtual Academy. He is going into 7th grade and we have enjoyed it a lot.

I graduated my first homeschool graduate last year. Amazing. One to go :)

I really enjoyed homeschooling and although I'm looking forward to no more grading, I think I'll miss this season of my life once it passes.
