I read someone's message about a contest on her blog, and it inspired me to start this discussion. List Mama Blog has started "16 Days of Giveaways" from June 1 to June 16! I am sorry if I am posting this in the wrong section - maybe this post was just to be about this particular giveaway - but I have a question about giveaways in general......for those of you who have a product - do you feel that doing giveaways on your blog/website/or other sites are a good thing? A good way to promote business and generate traffic? I can't decide. Don't get me wrong - I love donating to giveaways - I love that my products make their way into new hands. I really do - but I don't seem to get much NEW traffic. Right now I have a giveaway going on my blog and I only have had 4 people comment. :( I will probably continue doing them occassionally because it is fun and the person that wins ends up with something really cool - I just wanted to get others opinions on this matter! Thanks everyone!
