Hi all! I'm Sharon, and I'm pleased to join the group. It's interesting to see such a variety of new business ventures, and I am comforted to know there are so many others in the same boat! My new online business, passedpresents.com, is an e-commerce site offering an assortment of fun, quirky, eclectic items that come wrapped in a variety of exquisite designer wrapping papers, with the goal of making gift-giving easy and fun. I am always looking for feedback and advice, so I would be eternally grateful to anyone who has a moment to check out the site and offer their thoughts. Thanks a lot--I look forward to chatting with everyone!

Hi everyone! I just started my business Cutie Booty Cakes - Diapers Shaped Like Cakes. My "cakes" are filled with the gift all new mothers need - diapers. They are excellent baby shower/new baby gifts and can be used as centerpieces. I have samples on my website but I also do customization.

Happy to meet you!
I am an Independent Founding Consultant with Heritage Makers.
My website is www.iloveyourstories.com
It is great to see all your wonderful business opportunities out there and such varied and creative interests. I hope to learn all I can from you and offer any help as well.
I was introduced to my business by a great lady that was in the top of her field with DK Books. I was fortunate enought to meet Barbara, who again is the top of her field in HM. I joined in on the launch of a new business, HM. We will be having our 2nd Reunion at Disneyland this September. I love what I do and will never stop publishing my own books, or digital scrapbooking our memories. Scrapbookers are loving this new way to create. Plus all the other wonderful things this company is offering me to do with my business. I can grow in so many different ways.
To explain what I do simply......... "We are where your stories live"
There are essentially five business actions you do as an Independent Consultant.
1. Make your own books online and share your story through heritage conversations. This is so meaningful and rewarding. Everyone has a story-we share our stories, ideas, photos and laugh and cry.
2. Conduct in-home parties, ScanParties with professional Kodak scanners. Conduct meetings anywhere in the USA and Canada.
3. Hold workshops and trainings.
4. Present your business at fairs, tradeshows, and boutiques.
5. Build a Consultant Team.

I quit my 9 to 5 and work FT in my homebased business. No- I am not independently wealthy and would not ever tell anyone a homebased business is easy or a way to earn quick $. Any business is work. You usually get back what you put into it. I just love what I do and my husband joins me as well.
I look forward to being a part of this community.

I am a mother of three (3 year old daughter, 22 month old son, and 4 week old son), and something like 15 of my friends have all become moms twice or more in the last 4 years. So my friends and I have all been really good at giving each other the gift of food when one of us is at home with the new baby for the first month. We call it, "organizing a meal schedule." I think I have organized a hundred "meal schedules" in the last few years where I invite friends and family of the new mom to pick a day to bring food over to the house. It's great because it crosses something big off new mom's list of things to have to worry about, AND it pretty much sets a schedule up for people to come say hi and see the baby...briefly (and you look forward to it because they are bringing dinner).

Since I was doing this so often for people, and organizing is a tedious process, my husband and a friend of his took the time to solve our need for simplifying the process. They designed a website that we have used dozens of times already that helps make the process of organizing people to bring meals so much easier than having to make lot's of extra phone calls and send a ton of emails. It's a website called www.foodtidings.com and it's free for anyone to use. It's so simple to use, and I'd encourage anyone to check it out.

Have a great night!

I own a custom framing business called artcreations which is not very active at the moment, but I do plan to put my company online to sell some items on the internet, and I'm in the process of building my website. I also help market and run our family business called MarLee Travel which is a family entertainment and travel online booking service. You can check us out here at: www.marleetravel.paradisenetwork.com/booktravel/

I've been busy taking care of triplet boys who just turned 19 months yesterday...so I've been busy. There never seem to be enoough time in the day to do everything there is to do. But I'm glad to be here to contribute and be a part of my hybrid mom community.

Have a great day Mommies!
