My answer to this question, was frankly to avoid it altogether, I think! I've worked for myself since 1992, right through 2 pregnancies, and on into the kids' teenage years...... And, while it's been like a non-stop carnival ride, at times, entrepreneurship has been 'the answer' for our family! Working for myself affords me the flexibility that we, moms, WANT; and the finances, that we all NEED! It's opened so many doors for me and I've learned a lot about myself and my own capabilities in the process! Plus, I love the fact that my kids get to see their mom 'participating' in the workplace and being another identity, in addition to 'Mom.' It allows them to realize that they can create whatever life they want for themselves, when the time comes! And whether you're a stay-at-home mom; a work-outside the home mom; or an entrepreneurial mom; isn't great that we all have the opportunity to CHOOSE our own identity today?
