I have had a few and feel that they help other moms relate to me on a more personal level and realize that all of us have our flaws, ups & downs in life, but those obstacles do not have to hold us back!

Bethany said… - OMG... well, with a 6 month along it comes and goes. I have my non-fiction book out on proposal right now to a few agents and one publisher that I adore (that takes unagented stuff). And for fiction, still plugging along page by page.
Though, at Hybrid Mom, I have a new serial fiction column! Eeek! I am SO excited! ;-) Every tuesday... LIFE AS GRETA. Will be fun to flex my creative muscle this way. And hey, then I'll be writing a book each week!

- About Me:
- I am the author of "It Gets Easier! and Other Lies We Tell New Mothers", owner of the Publishing Co, New Buck Press, and the mother of three children. I love discussing all topics related to motherhood and how to make it easier through practical tips, honesty, and humor!
- From one mom to another, my words of wisdom are:
- Put yourself first at all times. Think of the instructions on an airplane in case of emergency. "put the mask on YOU, first, and then put it on your child." Mom needs to be taken care of, first, and then the rest of the damily will fall into place!
- What makes you hybrid?
- I refuse to settle for one way of life or another. I want to be a mother and I want to contribute to society at large, too. I will fight and fight until it is possible for all women who want it to have this balance in their lives. I also believe there is a way to achieve this balance with humor and a variety of references to seventies sitcoms including but not limited to : the Brady Bunch, The Bionic Woman & The Incredible Hulk!
