- About Me:
- Who says a 'Jack (Jill!) of all trades' has to be master of none? Sure, maybe we can't stay expert at everything all at once just like we're learning it's tough to 'have it all' all at once, but I find I can become expert at whatever I set my mind to. That must make me a serial expert and perhaps explains my serial careers in aviation, broadcasting, high tech, and coaching.
- From one mom to another, my words of wisdom are:
- Take care and nurture yourself first so that you can be there for others. Do what you have to do to ensure your family is well-cared for so that you can bring the rest of yourself to the rest of the world - but know that it doesn't always have to come only from you. If your family's needs are met and you're living a vibrant life, you're probably on the right track!
- What makes you hybrid?
- I identify myself as an individual first - my roles as wife, mother, employee, consultant, etc are the various ways I express myself but they are not who I am and do not strictly define me. I am a hybrid mom because who I am as a person shows up both in how I parent and also how I work: intensely focused on doing whatever is needed to help you achieve your own successes so that one day I'll become obsolete and move on to wherever I'm needed next.
