Mary said… - Hi Mary -- I saw your post "Looking for Other Entrepreneurial Moms", but cannot respond in that forum since I'm not part of the group 'mom writers'. I have been an entrepreneur since 1985 when I started my graphic design (then typesetting) business. And, I started an additional business (a baby products business) in late 2005/early 2006... so I have them both going right how. It keeps me busy, in addition to having an 8 year old daughter, husband (with 2 businesses) and a dog. Life is good!

- I'm 44, married & the mother of two, a daughter, age 15 and a son, age 13. I've owned and managed my own interiors and flooring business since 1992. I am the author of THE ENTREPRENEURIAL MOM: Managing for Success In Your Home and Your Business, and I speak to womens groups about the benefits of entrepreneurship and how it works so well with motherhood. I'm currently writing four new books and spending lots of time promoting my latest title.
- From one mom to another, my words of wisdom are:
- Remember to take care of yourself first! Learn to delegate, whether at work or at home. You'll be more productive in the long-run, and everyone benefits when you're at the top of your game!

- What DOESN'T (LOL!) I'm a wife; mother of 2; entrepreneur of 19 years; author; speaker; womens center volunteer; and all those other 'implied' titles that we, moms, have like: cook, housekeeper, chauffeur, counselor, nurse, dietician, errand runner, banker, party planner, vacation planner, decorator, painter, plumber, appliance repair person, and sometimes auto-mechanic ! That about covers it, but check me at the END of this week, as I'm sure SOMETHING NEW will come up!
