I'm a SAHM of three boys (ages 5, 7, and 16). My husband and I have been together for over 10 years, and we live in Akron, Ohio.
From one mom to another, my words of wisdom are:
Do what you can, when you can--and be satisfied that you have tried your best.
What makes you hybrid?
Although I'm a SAHM, I am also a freelance writer as well as a blogger. Plus, my husband and I are working on starting an in-home childcare business together--nothing huge, just a half-dozen kids or so. But, this makes me a hybrid mom because I don't fit the traditional description of either a SAHM or a WAHM.
I tried to leave this comment on your blog, but couldn't.....
The packaged food companies will only offer better/more nutritious/low sodium/organic versions of packaged food if consumers demand it.
Not to add more stress to your life, but low sodium is the least of packaged food's problems.... most of it in the USA is made from genetically modified crops (corn/canola/soy). Blame Kraft and Monsanto and the biotech industry and the marketing machines that convinced us food from a box was good for us.
