- About Me:
- I am an elementary school teacher, writer, mother of one and wife to a submariner in the US Navy. I am taking the next year off from work as we embark on our next military journey, possibly out of the country. In the meantime, I am hoping to begin a freelance writing career! I am passionate about the written word and look forward to exploring my potential in the writing field.
- From one mom to another, my words of wisdom are:
- Find balance within your life. Giving everything to only one part of your life leaves the rest undernourished and results in a feeling of being unfulfilled. Take a little time each day to pursue something of interest - whether that is a hobby, new business venture or writing that next article. Nurture your body, mind and soul so you can be the person you want to be for yourself, your kids and your significant other.
- What makes you hybrid?
- I am many things, a mother of one, an educator of many, an aspiring writer and that is only the tip of my iceberg. I have come to realize that we have multiple paths in this life and I'm excited to find out what mine will be!

Thanks for your kind words. Italy sounds so great! I use a web hosting company for my e-commerce. If you are wanting to do something to stay in touch with family, by sharing stories, pictures & videos, you may want to use a blog. I currently use Google's Blogger. I will say though, there is a new site...www.fuzzyblueslippers.com that you can post blogs, videos, pictures, buy/sell and network all in one spot. It is a new website so it is just rolling features out day to day.
