About Me:
I am a 40 (something) mom, wife and business owner and I absolutely love what I do. I have 3 kids who are 24, 22 and 7. I am a native New Yorker living in the midwest and love the outdoors.
From one mom to another, my words of wisdom are:
Enjoy your kids while they're little because they grow up way too fast. One day you're dropping them off at kindergarten with a lunchbox and backpack, and the next thing you know, you're dropping them off at a dorm room with a mini-fridge.
What makes you hybrid?
I left the corporate 9-5, as a securities trader, back in 2001 to stay home with my newborn daughter, who is now in 1st grade! I still wanted to use my skills in a way that was on my terms, so I started my own business. Now? If I can take my laptop with me, and have an internet connection, I can work from anywhere.

Hi Patty! Welcome to Hybrid Mom & mom business owners. I grew up in the midwest (Chicago suburbs) but now live in Denver. You are so right about kids growing fast. I used to laugh when friends would talk about that... until I had a child (daughter who's 8 now) & have watched the years fly by.
