I am a wife and mother of three, a textile designer and freelance writer. I've recently begun blogging about my thoughts on faith and life in my blog: "Confessions of a Crispy Mom".
From one mom to another, my words of wisdom are:
Take time to notice the details. There you will find the best things that motherhood has to offer.
What makes you hybrid?
I started working from home four years ago after a business trip turned nightmare left me and my husband stranded in separate cities while our sixteen year old baby sitter waited nervously at home with our kids. I decided that there had to be a better way. I was seasoned in my job and found a position in the company that allowed me to work from home. Although the position wasn't what I wanted to do, I realized that I did want to work from home and made up my mind to keep that going at all costs. I convinced other employers to consider that option for me (basically by insisting on it) and now work happily from home. Although my youngest is still in daycare, I'm home with my kids after school, my hours are much more flexible, I'm able to spend more time with them, be at all of their activities, and enjoy the chaos!
