Gemini Greetings Supports Stage IV Breast Cancer Patients in National Gal To Gal Virtual Walk
Owner and founder of Gemini Greetings celebrates the life of her cousin, Nicole Marie Naquin Curow by
supporting the National Gal To Gal Virtual Walk as a Gold Sponsor. Nicole, lost her battle to breast
cancer at the young age of 31 in 2001.
Gemini GreetingsTM is not only participating as Gold Sponsor, has also formed “Nikki’s Krewe” to recruit
participation in this 2nd annual viral fund-raiser. Supporters will register for the Gal To Gal Walk at
www.galtogalwalk.org for a minimum donation of $5.00. Registrants will design their own unique
character that will be added to the walk landscape where they can also invite their friends and family to join
them.
The walk commenced in the Virtual World of Harvard Square in Boston, MA, on October 1st and
concludes on the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, visiting 29 cities along the way. Walkers travel
through landscapes that will change on a daily basis, giving people a reason to return to see where they are
walking that day.
This new tech-savvy approach of fund-raising has attracted many individuals and other sponsors like,
Franklin Covey, Epson, Glory for Girls as well as strategic partners such as Fodors. In addition to corporate
sponsors, many celebrity ambassadors are taking part. Just to name a few are Lisa Rinna, Denise Richards,
Molly Sims, Jean Chatzky, Julie Morgenstern, Redbook editor in chief, Stacy Morrison and Broadway star
Deidre Goodwin among many others.
