It's Monday, it is snowing and the house is partially trashed...

It's Monday. The older kids are off to school. It is is SNOWING AGAIN and my house is pretty much trashed. How can that be? I was home ALL DAY yesterday! So were the kids though because it SNOWED. I do like snow, it is fun to watch, but not fun cleaning up after the kids track it all in the house. We overslept this morning so I've had no shower and am waiting for DH to eventually get home from work so I can shower. I don't dare jump in the shower leaving my 1 yo & 3 yo to fend for themselves for a few minutes. I can't fathom the damage they would wreak upon the house. We have Girl Scouts this afternoon so I have a troop meeting to finish planning, possibly a run to WalMart for supplies for said meeting, a house to clean since I foolishly volunteered to host a playdate for SMA - a sledding playdate in the yard to boot. (sigh) I don't think of the big picture sometimes! I feel as if I accomplished almost nothing yesterday, but thinking back I did get some things done and more importantly did get all my cpr equipment cleaned, washed and put away.

So now I need to get off the computer and get to housework!
